Frank Bellucci has gained recognition as one of NY's most talented freelance artists. Frank is an outstanding performer, session drummer, educator & clinician. Frank has played just about 300 gigs a year for the past 40 years!
As clinician, Frank has shared the stage with Terry Bozzio, Steve Smith, Virgil Donati, Marco Minnemann, Jojo Mayer, Jim Chapin, Rod Morgenstein, John Blackwell, Joe Franco, Anton Fig, Van Romaine, Dom Famularo & Hip Pickles. Clinics include appearances at Montreal Drum Festival, Five Towns College, Drummers Collective NYC, Long Island Drum Center, Sam Ash, Guitar Center, Dick Dicenso’s Drum Shop, Wagner College, Fort Sam Houston, George’s Music, Pontiac Music, Rick’s Drum Shop, Thoroughbred Music, Stony Brook University, Bay Shore School District NY, Dix Hills School District NY, Brentwood School Disctrict NY, KoSA Music Camp & Marguerites Music.
Frank has worked with such musicians as Oz Noy, Bucky Pizzarelli, Eric Marienthal, Chieli Minucci, Dean Brown Band, Jeff Berlin, Mino Cinelu, Ray Anderson, Carl Fischer, Giovanni Hidalgo, Rachel Z, Bob McChesney, Billy Heller ,Calabria Foti, Steve Salerno. . .
As sideman, Frank has drummed for following artists & bands: The Monkees, Bill Heller, Steve Adelson, Long Island Music Hall of Fame, Willie Steel, Uppercut, Herman's Hermits, Been There Done That, Chubby Checker, FB and the Swinging Machine, The Spinners, Jazzaphonic, Bob Lepley Trio to name very few.
Frank has done extensive jingle work for Cove Studios (Richie Cannata & Felix Cavaliere), Omni Studios (Doug & Mark Wood).
He has written an innovative book entitled, Feet First. Frank has presented clinics and performed at drum festivals throughout the USA.
